For the next few days i will be a little busy.. Solenn is coming fm France and will be staying with us for 3wks.. well if u cant remember who Solenn is.. she is actually the youngest daughter of Franck.. the family that we visited while in France.. Sonia is pretty excited that her 'kakak So So' will be staying with us... she has it all planned lol.. first stop.. to The Zoo of cos! hehehe
So anyway... to some of u girls who have picked up their Mastrad sheets over the weekend.. enjoy ur mats.. pls follow the instructions carefully for first use and I hope you enjoy baking macs on the Mastrad silicone sheets as much as I do! to those that had emailed me to be notified of my next shipmet.. i will do so once its in yah.. ty all!
Ingredients
2 eggs
200g sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tbsp emulsifier
250g flour
25g cocoa powder - valrhona
1/2 tsp baking powder
225ml soda water
50g dark cooking chocolate - i used 53% cocoa berry
1/2 tsp rum - didnt add
Enough sesame seed
Method
- Sangrai (fry without oil) sesame seed till slightly brown
- Double boil ur dark cooking chocolate till melt... set aside
- Whisk eggs, sugar, salt and emulsifier till thick and fluffy
- Lower ur mixer speed and add in sifted flour mixture (flour, cocoa powder, baking powder) alternately with soda water - F-SW-F-SW-F
- Add in melted chocolate and rum and mix thoroughly
- Pipe in ur batter into each mould and sprinkle sesame seed on top
- Steam on high fire for 10mins
Oh bef i go.. u see the chocolate bolu abv?? hehe.. I love it especially when all my 14pcs of bolu opened up like flowers.. awesome simple recipe! soft bolu.. full on chocolate flavour.. delish bolu! One for the books!

The bolu's steel containers with holes can be found in the Perling Indah shop at JB. However, it's quite expensive for one pack. I heard that you can order it via email or online and just bank in cash into their maybank account and they will use poslaju service to mail it to you (this info is for Kak Nor who asked u abt the containers)

Amboi....cantiknya... Teringat Coconut Blossom yg popular sikit masa dulu. last sat baru buat apam yogurt. Sedap dan lembut tapi tak semua yg LOL, yg ada tak nak bukak mulut! Anyway, now i know, the kind of acuan makes a lot of difference, mesti gunakan acuan berlubang tulah.... Just now I called my mum to ask if she has the mould. She said, "Semua dah kasi kau dah!"
