Green Carpet Cake (Steam)

This cake is a little different compare to the rest.. it uses crushed marie biscuit and its one of the easiest to prepare.. love how the marbling turned out.. and tastewise? i love it!!

Ingredients
1 1/4 cup self raising flour
5 eggs (grade A)
225g butter (i used unsalted butter)
3/4 cup sugar
5 pcs of biscuit marie (crushed and measure 4 tbsp)
3 tbsp horlicks
1 1/2 tsp pandan paste/pandan emulco
1/4 cup condense milk
1/2 tsp salt (i added)

Method
Heat steamer... greased a 6" cake pan..
Sift flour, horlicks, crushed marie biscuit and salt in a bowl.. put it aside
Using a stand mixer.. beat butter and sugar using high speed till thick and fluffy (make sure the sugar dissolved)
Add in one egg at a time.. abt 1 min each
Add condense milk and continue to beat on low speed
Add in flour mixture and mix in slowly
Divide batter into 2 portion.. adding pandan paste to one portion and leave the other one original.
Pour pandan and original batter alternatively.. according to ur own creativity
Steam cake batter for abt 1hr 20 mins

Salam Rima, my sis wanted me to make her this cake. Can i bake instead of steam it? How's the horlicks taste? Is it strong enuf? If i add 1-2 more tbs of horlicks, what do u think it'll do to the cake doc?

As far as i can remember cake ni memang lemak berkrim.. Adding more horlick menambahkan rasa lemak.. No harm i guess adding one or two more tbsp to ur batter :)
